Accounting Assistant

Solon Marketing, Inc.

Solon Marketing, Inc. is a business administration firm with employees based remotely throughout the country. We are hiring a full-time accounting assistant to be based in Burlington, Vermont. The position will operate primarily out of a communal office space, Vermont Center for Emerging Technology (VCET), with two other Solon Marketing Employees. The day-to-day duties are consistent with an entry-level accounting position but you should be comfortable taking on new and diverse tasks as management sees fit.

Duties:

Assist with maintaining current accounts payable/receivable
Enter manual bills and payments
Reconciling of bank accounts and inventory listings
Inventory tracking
Payroll processing
Provide support for financial audits
Performs other job related duties as requested by management

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required
At least one (1) year of experience in accounting
Good organizational skills and ability to handle a high volume of work
